Holding a Master’s Degree in Public Law "European and International Careers" from the University Paris V René Descartes, and former student of a post-graduate diploma in Community law at the University Strasbourg III Robert Schuman, Pascale Petoud initially worked for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Strasbourg (to inform and advise businesses on EU laws in 1996 and 1997), then in 1998, she became a member of the Luxembourg Bar.
Before the creation of the LADKA & PETOUD PARTNERS in 2005, she worked for 7 years in a Luxembourgish law practice specialised in litigation where she gained an extensive experience in judicial procedures before the Luxembourg common courts (Peace Justice, District Courts, Court of Appeal), the specialised courts (Administrative Court, Labour Court, the Board of Referees for Social Insurance), the supreme courts (Court of Cassation, Constitutional Court) and the international courts (European Court of Justice, European Court of Human Rights).
Besides a thorough knowledge in Community law, she practices among others in commercial law litigation (bankruptcy, liquidation, debt collection), in administrative law (any dispute with authorities and public agencies), in civil law (family law, contract law, including the letting leases, civil liability ...) and in employment law.
She welcomes her clients in French, English and German.
